T. J. Birkenmeier
T. J. Birkenmeier (Birk) began his
career at Ralston Purina in 1967. In 1969, he became a principal and
Chief Creative Officer of Stolz Advertising Company, Founder and Principal of
BFV&L and Marketing Director of The St. Louis Sun, prior to founding The
ORCA Partnership in 1993. ORCA is celebrating its 15th Anniversary in
2008. Birk has created many new product concepts, including the original
children's meal for McDonald's and during his career, he has developed
integrated marketing and branding programs for leading entrepreneurial
companies including Enterprise-Rent-A-Car, Kraft Foods, GlaxoSmithKline,
Schnuck Markets, 7UP, Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey, Korbel Champagne,
Enterprise Bank and Trust, Plaza Motors, Frangi Pangi Hosiery, Volpi Italian
Meat Products, Trabue Industrial Systems, St. Louis Closet Company, Weiss
Brentwood Volvo, StarTrac Fitness Equipment, Weiss Toyota of South County,
Affton Trucking and Intermodal. His firm also developed Strategic Visioning and
Brand Licensing programs for the LIVESTRONG brand owned by The Lance Armstrong
Foundation. Birk has served in many civic capacities with the VP Fair and as
Vice General Chairman of the St. Louis County Fair and Air Show and as a member
